PHCC of California is proud to announce PHCC of San Francisco & San Mateo’s President’s Choice/Contractor & Affiliate of the Year Award Winners:

Michael Ciofalo and Eve Segasture of Professor Plumb received top honors at the holiday party hosted at the Kingfish Restaurant by PHCC of SF & SM Counties.

Founded in 2003 by Michael Ciofalo, a native-born plumber with 31 years experience in the field, Professor Plumb, is a dual-licensed, San Francisco based company that specializes in remodels and the professional installation, maintenance and repair of Plumbing, Boiler, Solar Thermal, steam and high efficiency systems.

In his position as Le Grande Fromage, Michael manages the Journey Level crew and Apprentices, all aspects of fieldwork, and estimation.  His wife, Eve Segasture, also known as Mrs. Plumb and El Presidente, oversees Operations and administration of the business, with the trusty Assistance of Odile Ciofalo, Sister-in-law and Le Petit Fromage.

In 2012, Michael was honored to take part in updating the CSLB Boilermaker’s License test, re-writing 800 antiquated questions with a core team of 6, including respected industry professionals and Inspectors.

Michael is proud to have served as a Board member and Secretary for the PHCC San Francisco/San Mateo Chapter for 2014, and is looking forward to making further contributions.  A firm believer in education and apprenticeship, Michael is also a supporter of the PHCC GSA Training Facility, educating his employees for the advancement of not only his company but the industry as a whole.

Also receiving recognition, Mark Glenn from California Hydronics received the distinction of 2014 Affiliate of the Year.  A tireless supporter of PHCC of San Francisco & San Mateo Counties, he was the first person to support the first PHCC SF/SM Counties Trade Show by purchasing Booth #1.  He is a regular attendee at the PHCC SF/SM Dinner Meetings and provides a wealth of industry knowledge to the membership.

Congratulations also to Mikel Mansour of Dry Down & his beautiful fiancee’ Katie on their engagement!  They’re a lovely couple and strong supporters of PHCC.
