From the Desk of Hunter Botto (PHCC-PAC Co-Chairman)
Botto Brothers Plumbing & Heating
Hicksville, New York
Good afternoon,
My name is Hunter Botto and I would like to introduce myself as a new member of PHCC’s Government Relations team. I would like to ask that you contribute to our “Change for Change” program to support our lobbying efforts in Washington, D.C. I am working with PHCC Government Relations Chairman Mark Giebelhaus and PAC Co-Chairman Joe Whitney to make PHCC’s Political Action Committee a stronger presence on Capitol Hill.
I’ve been a member of PHCC for 18 years, serving as a member, local president, state president, national zone director, and now as a co-chair of the PAC Committee. I have always enjoyed communicating with lawmakers on the national, state, and local levels, to serve our members and their concerns relating to this great industry.
As a leader at PHCC, I have always felt that involvement in the political arena is a benefit to our members. “Get into politics or get out of business,” I have been told not only by PHCC members, but anyone who has the determination to make this business atmosphere a better place for all PHCC contractors.
This year is one of the most important elections I can remember where we have the opportunity to have pro-business minded lawmakers elected to serve in the 115th Congressional Cycle. I feel as many of you do, that it’s our time to be heard. Politics as usual is not what the American people want to see, and we need to make sure those who understand our industry are elected…and reelected.
I spoke at the 2016 Legislative Conference recently, and am grateful so many understood the need to be involved with the PHCC-PAC. I would like to encourage all PHCC members to invest in your future by donating to the PAC fund by contributing to the 2016 Change For Change Program.
It is very easy to contribute. Simply complete and fax or scan and email the contribution form to PHCC Vice President of Legislative Affairs Mark Riso at riso@naphcc.org. You can also call Mark directly if you have any questions or if you need anything at 703-752-9871.
Please take a few minutes to help our industry in the upcoming Congressional elections.
Thank you for your leadership.
Sincerely,
Hunter Botto, Co-Chairman, PHCC-PAC Committee
