  1. My condolences to the family. I was lucky enough to get to know Marty and his wife during my early years on the CAPHCC board. We used to have a yearly Past Presidents meeting which were held all over the state. The last one that I attended was in San Francisco at Fisherman’s Wharf. There was plenty of food, drink and entertainment to go around. I remember that when I checked in to the hotel and asked for a room that would be quiet, I was told that the only room that was available was below a very loud group on the top floor. I wonder who that group could be? I asked the front desk manager if they were a bunch of plumbers and he immediately confirmed that this was my group. I didn’t have to worry about a bunch of ruckus from them because they were always up early and would turn in fairly early too. That group usually included the Bombini’s, the Dill’s, the Blumenthal’s, the Kleinen’s, the Price’s and the Dellucci’s.
