Sacramento, CA – June 23, 2022: Dan Bonetti is awarded the PHCC of California Lifetime Achievement Award for 2022 at PHCC WEST 2022 in Lake Tahoe, NV

Dan Bonetti of Frank Bonetti Plumbing Inc. in Castro Valley, CA was presented with the prestigious PHCC of California Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual PHCC of California conference, PHCC WEST 2022 in Lake Tahoe, CA on May 19, 2022.  Dan Bonetti has served on the PHCC of California State Board alongside the industry leaders in plumbing-heating-cooling contracting since 2020 as the PHCC National Zone 4 Director.  Dan Bonetti began his board career on the PHCC of Alameda and Contra Costa (ACCC) Board of Directors from 2009-2016 and served as PHCC ACCC President from 2011-2015.

PHCC members since 1960, Dan Bonetti, along with his brother Ray, began managing the company in 1985 and his career reflects a lifetime of devoted PHCC service.

The Lifetime Achievement award was introduced in 2011 and is awarded to a Contractor Member who has been a member for over 35 years and demonstrated service above and beyond the call of duty in key areas of association engagement, training, membership, public awareness, workforce development, legislation, and influenced the course and direction of the P-H-C industry and the PHCC of California itself.  Dan Bonetti has proven himself exceptional in each of these areas.  Mr. Bonetti stated, ‘I started out not knowing anything, and my father put me in the field for a few years.  I will never forget being so green, and the two different foremen that I reported to. Both gentlemen took me under their wing and were willing to teach me so many little tricks that you never find in books.  As I got older, I realized that it was my turn to do the same for younger plumbers, so I taught at the local PHCC ACCC school for many years.  We don’t have the classroom space to train up-and-coming plumbers and having the PHCC training school close by is a big perk.’

When asked how PHCC benefits its members, Dan Bonetti replied, ‘I have made so many lifelong personal friends through PHCC local events.  It has allowed us to network with other plumbing companies that are having the same challenges we have.’’  Mr. Bonetti continued, ‘Besides a lot of the discounts and membership benefits, one of the biggest reasons to be a PHCC member is legislative representation.  Without PHCC there is no one fighting for our industry’.

Dan Bonetti has been married to his beautiful wife Marie for 44 years.  They have a son Bryan, daughter-in-law Lyndsey, and two grandchildren, Aubrey and Brayden.  In their spare time, the Bonetti’s enjoy traveling, golf and spending time at their mountain home with their close friends and family.
