Latent potential exists within everyone.  This is what audiences hear from me.

This potential may just sit there until a trusted friend’s nudge motivates the required action to transform what was latent into something more tangible.

The above reality is what happened a few months ago when I was invited to write an article about mentoring in the trades.  Candace Roulo, the Senior Editor for Contractor Magazine, read my blog about Education, Evidence and Employment.  She subsequently sent me a message:

This invitation arrived in the midst of an ongoing and relentless travel schedule.  And as I considered Candace’s invitation, a few industry mentors, who I knew and could interview, popped into my head.
