A Christmas Message from CAPHCC President Cheryl Mosier

Tracy Threlfall CAPHCC President's Message, News for PHCC Members - All

Greetings and Merry Christmas everyone.  I can’t believe this year is coming to an end and planning has started for PHCC West.  If my term has taught me anything, it’s that  the strength of the association is the members themselves, and I’m looking forward to celebrating with you all in Anchorage, Alaska April 23-28, 2022.

Speaking of the membership, I was honored and privileged to travel the state with PHCC of California CEO Tracy Threlfall to celebrate the holidays with many of you.   The below events were published on all our social media platforms, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.  Click any of those links for an inside peek on why the PHCC of California local association chapters are so amazing!

First was the PHCC of San Diego Christmas Gala, which was held at the Scottish Rite Center, with a circus theme.  This was a great theme that created an amazing gala atmosphere.  We had a magician that put on a fantastic show along with a juggler, a woman on stilts and a contortionist that created an atmosphere of fantasy and mystery.  All in all, it was a fantastic night. Thank you, Taylor, Juri, Noemy and your volunteer leadership for a wonderful time.

After San Diego, I traveled up to a PHCC GLAA family Christmas dinner at the Tamayo Restaurant.  It was a close, family affair, with an amazing dinner, and a Christmas Choir that sang throughout the night. From the Gift exchange to the Ugly sweater contest, fun was had by all.  I was honored to present PHCC GLAA President Bruce Mauerhan and Mauerhan Plumbing with a plaque for 50 years of membership! This is an amazing legacy of service to PHCC and we appreciate their membership, and being able to celebrate with Bruce and his family, and the PHCC GLAA membership.  Thank you, Sandi, Dorman, Heidi and your volunteer leadership for a great event.

I then attended the PHCCORSB Gala – Royal Flush 007, at the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach.  All I can say is “What a Party” From the table tops, to the casino tables, to the food, the drinks,  the guest speakers, the awards, the wonderful raffle prizes and of course the dancing, it was a night we will always remember.  Mike, Monica, and Doug…you guys did an amazing job.  Thank you for a night none of us will forget.

Last but not least, I attended PHCC of Alameda’s PHCC Christmas event and Executive Director Krystle Reddoch and her crew put together an elegant event at the Crow Canyon Country Club in Danville, CA.  The food was amazing, the games were so much fun (Congratulations Mike Bonetti on all of those safety pins!), and Santa AND The Grinch put in an appearance!  Former Executive Manager Chris Bonetti raised money for their education program by auctioning off her amazing wreaths, and received a fitting tribute for her years of service with PHCC. It’s so heart warming that she’s still involved and supporting the association.  Christmas gifts were given to all the ladies, we had another great evening of dining and dancing, , and we have the photo booth memories to prove it!

I’d like to take this time to say thank you to all my Board Members, our Chapter Executives and Tracy, Jerry, Theresa and Tim for a wonderful year we have had so far, I look forward to the rest of my term!  I want to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone in the PHCC of California, and to our membership nationwide.  We hope your holidays are just what you want, and that you enjoy the excitement and warm feelings that come with this time of year.

Love you all, Cheryl
